Owners of Aloun Farms in Oahu, which is a major supplier of fruits and vegetables pled guilty to human trafficking. Alex and Mike Sou recruited Thai nationals, who mortgaged homes/land for $20,000 to travel to Hawaii to work Aloun Farms for a better income. Contracts stated that the workers make over $9 an hour.
