The bracelets at 3 Strands are funding freedom for those enslaved in human trafficking. The proceeds from the sale of the bracelets support freedom, empowerment, and love primarily through a partnership with Agape International Missions.
Bracelets are made at the Agape Training Center, the empowerment and vocational training arm of AIM in Cambodia. 3 Strands Global purchases the bracelets for sale in the US. Each bracelet is made of 3 waxed cotton cords then woven together with a red seed in the middle.
The red seed is from a pod of the Sandalwood Tree that has drifted to the ground as it falls from the tree. Most people over look the pods on the ground, stepping on them. But inside the withered pod is a beautiful red seed. This red seed is the center piece of the bracelets. They represent the beauty inside of each woman and child that has been used and abused in brothels, but is transformed by freedom, empowerment, and love.
